Transforming Rural India

Can India develop without the development of her villages? Can India be considered as a happier nation without the happiness of her seventy percent (70%) of her rural folks? Why today in this country on one hand, one section of people are getting richer day by day and on the other hand majority of people living in villages are struggling for their survival? Why has agriculture today become most difficult in this period of scientific, technological advancement and era of globalization? Why does the country which was self-sufficient for her dietary needs have to depend on other nations for feeding her population? .Where that feeling of cooperation, the bond of togetherness has gone? Why do the majority of youth in this country are the most vulnerable section in this country and fall prey to maximum evils?

Similarly there are a number of questions that can be framed but the answer to all these questions is the development of the rural population where every individual should find the meaning of his or her life. These are the few questions whose solution has become the guiding principles of Udbhava. Udbhava founders and co-founders come from the village background and had a vision to give back to the society.

Good Rural Governance provides individual citizens and the leaders of village-level institutions with knowledge, skills, and confidence to become informed, active self-advocates for the development of their communities .
